UK recruitment agencies and Gloucestershire businesses enjoyed a fantastic day of golf hosted by Simplicity, at Brickhampton Court Golf Complex in aid of the Pied Piper Appeal this August. With a staggering 32 golf teams, Simplicity managed to raise £12,000 for the charity, exceeding their previous amount raised of £6,500 in 2018.
Jonathan Viney, Director at Simplicity, said. “After the success of our first golf day, we decided to make it an annual event but didn’t expect the amount of support we received and almost double the amount of money raised this year.
“The day exceeded our expectations and we were delighted that everyone came together to support a special charity, which make such a difference to the lives of sick and disabled children in the county.”
Pied Piper Chairman, Nick Broady comments, “We all want the best care and provision for our children and these events help Pied Piper to continue providing vital support to those who need it most. I would like to thank everyone who helped organise, donate and contribute to the £12,000 raised for the Pied Piper Appeal.”
Jonathan Viney continued “I’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone that contributed to the golf day, we couldn’t have done it without you. We very much look forward to doing it all again next year and raising even more money for such a great cause.”
Congratulations to team ‘The Good, The Bad and The Ugly’, who won the overall competition on the day. Watch this space for details of next year’s event!
