After months of collecting tokens the nailbiting moment arrived when Gloucester Rugby’s Charlie Sharples picked the winning ticket in our Win A Minibus competition, from an impressive 119 entries.
The keys of the shiny silver 15-seater went to the Friends of Pittville School.
The cost of the £15,000 minibus was co-funded by the Pied Piper Appeal and Cheltenham Round Table and the competition ran in conjunction with the Gloucester Citizen and Gloucestershire Echo.
Nick Broady said: “This is the third year we have run the popular Minibus competition. Last year’s winner was Forest Pulse. All our winners have an affiliation with a group of children who are sick or have disabilities, which makes the competition brilliant for the local community.”
For all those who missed out, don’t worry there’s always next year and we’d be delighted to see you have another go.
