The Pied Piper Appeal
How We Help
We provide the latest equipment for the children mainly in the Children's Centre at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital but also equip waiting areas at paediatric outpatient areas in all the hospitals in the County. We also have a bursary to send the nurses on training courses so that they can be as knowledgeable in their field as possible.Read Stories
Gloucestershire has many special schools for children with varying disabilities such as Milestones in Gloucester, Bettridge in Cheltenham and Heart of the Forest School in Coleford. Pied Piper has supplied minibuses, hoists and muti-sensory areas as well as educational equipment to help the children as they learn. Most recently we have pledged £500.000 to the new Chamwell Centre which will be built at Milestones School and will provide a state of the art facility for disabled children educationally and for respite care.
The Pied Piper Appeal sends children with life limiting illnesses or children that are terminally ill on wish holidays with their families. They travel to places such as Centreparcs or as far as Disneyland Paris but are tailored to the needs of the family.Find Out More
